Our client is one of the leading German family businesses in the plastics industry. His clients come from the automotive industry, consumer goods and various other industries. To support and accelerate the fast-growing business in China, we are looking for an ambitious highly motivated Sales Director, Southwest China.

• Establishment of a new sales office in Chongqing or Chengdu, responsible for Southwest China
• Management, coordination and documentation of existing and new customer projects
• Development, control and implementation of sales and marketing strategies
• Increase in sales growth and expansion of sales channels
• Setting up and managing the sales team
• Maintaining and improving good relationships with key customers and continually expanding the customers and business partners
• Providing timely and accurate sales reports and forecasts
• Training takes place in Germany

• Bachelor or Master in Engineering, ideally related with plastic and synthetic material or polymer processing
• At least 3 years professional experience in a comparable senior position in an international environment, preferably in a European company
• At least 5 years’ experience in sales of technical products, ideally experience with plastic and synthetic technology, polymer processing
• Excellent negotiation skills, good communication and presentation skills
• Chinese at native level, fluent in spoken and written English, German is a plus
• Willingness to travel in China
