Our client is a healthy and continuously growing global European company with more than 200 years history. They are the European leader in developing and manufacturing reflective materials for different industries.

In China they have successfully developed business and relationships with major customers. In order to expand their business and satisfy the needs of their customers in China, we are now looking for a new Managing Director to lead the countrywide sales organization and the production plant with around 60 people.

• Responsible for P&L in China, reporting to the CEO in HQ in Europa
• Managing and leading the sales organization (main duty) and the production plant in China
• Implementation of growth strategies by anticipating trends and future demands
• Leading a sales team to active acquire new projects and customers as well as distributors all over China
• Personal support of key-accounts and support of sales staff in difficult negotiations
• Planning and monitoring the customers’ sales and margins
• Ensuring, along with all concerned departments, that technical requirements of customers are realised
• Market analysis and reporting information of the Chinese customers and competitors
• Planning and Budgeting

• University degree, preferably in Engineering and/or business
• At least 5 years’ experience in the similar industry, preferably experience with sales of reflective materials and in managing a large number of distributors countrywide
• Successful records and experience as General Manager, Managing Director or Sales Director in a sales team or sales subsidiary
• Chinese as mother tongue, English language skills at business level
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Self-motivated and competencies to provide leadership and motivate staff
• Team player and highly customer-oriented
• Experience in working for Western (European/American) companies
